The Filipino Programmer’s Society (FILPROS) with Hilsoft’s Technology Partner, Dann Ryan Hilario discussed the new paradigm in Java 8 Lambda Expressions. This is just one of the topics discussed during the FILPROS launch, a few months ago.
The program started with members and guest introduction followed by a quick note from the chairman and president to discuss the group’s purpose and vision to reach out Filipino programmers for product ideas, their career path, hard/soft skill training, outside projects and being part of a social events.
The group was also introduced on a soon-to-be launched Facebook group that will be the venue for their members to discuss programming challenges, projects and announcements.
The target next meet-up will be an officer’s meeting on October 4, 2014.
